- What is the difference between VBN and OMS?
- VBN is the buyer intelligence layer: it structures buyer identity, readiness, and acquisition criteria into a reusable Buyer Passport. OMS is the first application built on top of it — a controlled, off-MLS environment where sellers introduce opportunities to that structured demand. Buyers primarily experience VBN; sellers primarily experience OMS.
- Do I have to create an account to understand how this works?
- No. This page and our market pages explain both sides of the platform. An account is only needed when you want to build a Buyer Passport or introduce an opportunity.
- Is this a listing site like the ones I already use?
- No. Legacy portals are built for maximum property exposure. OMS is built for controlled exposure: a seller decides what is visible and to whom, and buyers are surfaced opportunities based on criteria they defined rather than on everything currently for sale.
- Do I need an agent to participate?
- No. OMS does not require an agent for platform participation. Agents, attorneys, asset managers, and other authorized representatives may participate where they have appropriate authority, and any representation or commission arrangements remain off-platform between the relevant parties.
- What does a seller actually see about me as a buyer?
- Permitted status fields and their sources — for example that a document was submitted and when, or that a review was completed by a third party. Sellers review structured readiness information, not your raw identity or financial documents.
- Is expressing interest the same as making an offer?
- No. Interest is a structured, nonbinding signal that starts a review. It does not create an offer, a contract, or an obligation for either party.
- Does the platform guarantee a sale or replace my professionals?
- No. Verification status describes a specific review at a point in time and does not guarantee identity, funding, or closing. Negotiation, contracts, escrow, and title stay with the parties, and OMS and VBN do not replace attorneys, lenders, inspectors, appraisers, or licensed representatives.
- How is my location used on this page?
